The doughnut chain has a special treat for pooches on National Dog Day.

National Dog Day is Friday, August 26, and Krispy Kreme is celebrating with a special treat for your dog. For the first time ever, the doughnut store will be selling a dog-friendly version of its classic doughnut! Krispy Kreme has partnered with Huds and Tike, an Australian company that makes treats for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and guinea pigs.

The special six-pack of doggie doughnuts will be available only on August 26, while supplies last.

The doggie “doughnuts” are actually hard-baked cookies made with dog-safe ingredients like carob, peanut butter, and whole wheat flour.

Krispy Kreme’s doggie doughnuts only come in a six-pack and will only be available at select locations, walk-in, or drive-thru. Don’t worry if your pack can’t eat them all in one day, the doggie doughnuts will last for up to one year. You can find out more nutritional information about the doughnuts and find a location where you can find them by visiting KrispyKreme.com.

Pricing has not been released but once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Does your dog have allergies? No problem. You can still get your dog in on the action by getting them a special-edition Krispy Kreme bandana printed with bones, dogs, and doughnuts. The bandanas will only be available in-store while supplies last.

In the past few years, restaurants have taken note of the affection Americans have for their furry friends and now offer special off-menu items. You can get puppucinos (a mini cup filled with whipped cream) at Starbucks, chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A, and plain burger patties at In-N-Out Burger. There are also a number of sit-down restaurants and breweries that allow people to bring their pups along.
