Giant Food is pairing up with Alex Ovechkin to offer a delicious new fundraiser for the Children's Cancer Foundation.

Caps fans and cereal lovers alike will be able to find the limited-edition boxes of cereal starting on September 17. The release date also happens to be Ovi's birthday! Each box features pictures of Ovechkin and information about the Children's Cancer Foundation.

The cereal is described as a hoop-type cereal with honey and nuts. Each 12.25-ounce box will be on sale for $2.69. That's a small price to pay for breakfast with your favorite hockey player!

In addition to the tasty cereal inside, each box will have a code that you can scan into Snapchat to play an Ovi-centric slapshot game. Does your breakfast choice come with this many bells and whistles?

You'll be able to find the cereal while it lasts at all area Giant Food stores in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Part of the proceeds from the sales of the cereal will go to help fund the various cancer research efforts, programs, and facilities run by the Children's Cancer Foundation.

"Giant Food has been a sponsor of the Washington Capitals for over three years, and like all fans, we have enjoyed the spirit and energy Alex brings to the game and our local community," said Ira Kress, interim President of Giant Food. "Teaming together for such a fun and healthy product is a win-win for us all. We are proud to offer a delicious breakfast cereal that will also help fund the important work of the Children's Cancer Foundation."
