The Zombie packs will contain weird-tasting zombie-flavored candies disguised as a regular Skittle.

The candy that usually invites you to “taste the rainbow” is daring you to taste the zombie this Halloween. Skittles candy has announced the introduction of a special-edition zombies candy pack coming to stores this fall. Each pack will feature five fruit flavors along with a surprise  “zombie” flavor. The zombie flavor will look like all the others so you won’t know you’re eating it until the first bite. 

Earlier this summer, Skittles produced an "Imposters" pack that included candies where the color didn’t match its flavor. The brand has carried that idea over into a special edition for Halloween.

"Our fans love Skittles not just for its delicious fruity flavors, but for the irreverence and sense of humor for which the brand is known," said Rebecca Duke, Skittles Senior Brand Manager, Mars Wrigley U.S. "This Halloween, we wanted to give our fans the ultimate rotten twist on the candy they know and love, challenging them to test their bravery over a bag of Zombie Skittles."

Zombie Skittles will come in mummified melon, chilling black cherry, petrifying citrus punch, and blood-red berry. The zombie flavor is described by the makers as an “utterly disgusting taste experience.” Skittles will be inviting fans to share their zombie taste experiences with the #DareTheRainbow Challenge. Take selfies or pictures of your friends' faces tasting the zombie-flavored candy and post on social media with the hashtag #DareTheRainbowChallenge.

Zombie Skittles will be available in a share size, large bag and fun size bag, perfect for sharing with unsuspecting treat-or-treaters. You can find them on U.S. store shelves this Halloween.
