Starbucks is ringing in the New Year by giving customers a free espresso.

‘Tis the season of giving, and Starbucks is giving us exactly what we want. Every day until 2020, select Starbucks pop-up locations will be giving customers a free espresso from 1 to 2 p.m.

How to Score a Free Espresso

Starbucks is counting down to the New Year by hosting over 1,000 pop-up parties at more than 200 Starbucks across the nation. These pop-up parties will take place daily from 1 to 2 p.m. local time, and during this time, customers will receive a free tall handcrafted espresso of their choice.

These espressos can be hot or iced and include specialty drinks such as Peppermint Mochas, Iced Toasted White Chocolate Mochas, lattes, and macchiatos. The drinks, however, do not include blended drinks, and each customer is only allowed one per day. You also may not use any help to obtain your free drink—so put down your phone and close out of Uber Eats or Starbucks’ mobile ordering app. You actually have to show up to the party in person to get your free espresso.

Where to Get Your Free Drink

The pop-up parties will change locations every day. Therefore, in order to get your invite to the party, you’ll have to check Starbucks' pop-up party site, StarbucksPopUp.com. The site will be updated every day at midnight to reveal the pop-up shops offering free espressos for the day.
