With Starbucks running out of colors to make fraps, they made one with em' all.

That's right! Your favorite coffee shop is about to roll out its newest addition to the sugar-shake collection.

Starbucks announced that its newest frappuccino, the Tie-Dye Frappuccino, is available in stores today, July 10, and it's as sweet as it's colorful. One employee even described it as a "banana Laffy Taffy" in a cup in a post on Instagram (below). Starbucks employees have been snapping sneak peeks of the drink over the last week or so.

Basically, it seems like it's the next logical step in Starbucks' long-drawn-out attempt at social media buzz. The drink seems to be more of a hashtag phenomenon than a practical menu item, and is only available for a few days – about five days, or while supplies last.

While the drink is already making noise on social media, with Starbucks employees posting the drink and hyping up its limited-time availability, some folks don't seem over the rainbow about its arrival. Many have said the drink is following the efforts of the Unicorn Frappuccino, which also had a limited-time supply and was more of a trophy beverage for the internet than a caffeinated commodity for coffee connoisseurs.

Employees' backlash and negative feedback after the Unicorn Frap left Starbucks promising they wouldn't roll it out again, but alas, the Tie-Dye Frap seems to contradict that promise. Many employees even say the drink, which takes three different powders to concoct, is fairly labor-intensive.

Head to your nearest Starbucks this Wednesday and see what all the buzz is about. And make sure you snap a picture for the 'Gram and let us know what you think of the newest frappuccino in the comments below!
