Plus, new merch for all you coffee-lovers!

Starbucks is celebrating a whopping 50 years in the coffee business, and instead of blowing out the candles on a cake, they're marking the occasion with more than coffee. Specifically a fan-favorite blend that's only here for a limited time!

The coffee giants just brought back their Anniversary Blend available both in-store and online. A dark roast brew sourced from Indonesia—it contains tasting notes of "bold and cedary spice" for a rich, aromatic cup. This isn't the first time the Seattle-based chain has celebrated with the special blend. They introduced it back in 1996 to mark their 25th year since opening in 1971, and coffee lovers have flocked to the precious beans ever since.

Plus, can we take a minute to appreciate the packaging? The teal blue bag with the iconic siren mascot on it is simply too pretty to throw away! If you're as crazy about the design as we are, the company's also rolling out a commemorative merch line extending beyond coffee. Collectors can purchase brand-new mugs, tumblers, and glass cups to make their morning cup of joe—and kitchen cupboards—just a little more special.

It's hard to believe Starbucks has existed for only half a century. Can you think of a time they weren't there for your morning coffee run or frappucino cravings? Yeah,  neither can we, and it's a thought we'd rather not dwell on!

The Anniversary Blend can be purchased in single-pound bags online, but if you'd like to try it before committing to a whole bag, Delish reports the blend will be the dark roast on tap between March 8-14. Between that and the national roll-out of Oatley oat milk that started this week, it's perfect timing to treat yourself to a cup. You can locate your nearest shop here.

Will you be picking up a bag of Starbucks Anniversary Blend? What's your typical coffee order? Let us know in the comments.
