The limited-edition dish will be introduced later this summer.

Two of America’s most popular oven dishes are merging into one for a limited time. Stouffer’s is combing its classic macaroni and cheese and lasagna with meat into one special dish, Lasagnamac. The product will not be sold in stores, but fans will have a chance to win a chance to try it this summer.

Last summer, Stouffer’s introduced a “Mac On Tap” machine that dispenses hot macaroni cheese to mark 60 years selling the signature dish.

While summer doesn’t seem like the optimum time to eat a baked oven dish, Stouffer’s is taking the opportunity to get to promote its new program, Happyfull. Happyfull embodies the idea that you’ll never feel hungry after eating a Stouffer’s meal. Lasagnamac is Stouffer’s mac and cheese sandwiched between two layers of meat and cheese lasagna.

"Bringing together two of our best-selling products is a simple way to express the intent of our new marketing campaign, Happyfull," said Megan McLaughlin, brand marketing manager, Stouffer’s. "We worked to create a recipe that will make our fans feel both happy and full. LasagnaMac is a great example of how our innovation is anchored in consumer obsession—and not to mention, it's incredibly delicious."
