If you've been craving a pork patty with barbecue sauce on a soft bun, you're in luck. The McRib is back, for a limited time only, and there's an easy way to hunt one down.
For some reason, the McRib is up there in fast-food lore as one of the most polarizing dishes ever created. You either love it or you hate it; there's really no in-between.
McDonald's is estimating that the sandwich will be available in over 10,000 locations. To find the one nearest you, they have launched the McRib Finder. Simply type in your zip code and you're off! It seems that local franchise owners are deciding whether or not to carry them, so don't be surprised if you can't find one at every location.
From the looks of things, this seasonal favorite will be back for fall, officially starting on October 7, but Instagram and Twitter are flooded with pictures of loyal fans hailing its return.
I really hope this guy is sharing with someone:
In case you're wondering, the McRib is made up of a hoagie-style white bun stuffed with a "McRib pork patty" slathered in a basic barbecue sauce. The vegetable toppings are slivered onions and pickle slices for a total of 480 calories. It's probably best if you just don't think about things like that at a time like this, though.
