The free menu items will be available only on Monday, February 3, 2020.

If you’re feeling a little guilty about all the food you consumed during the Super Bowl, head to the nearest Carl’s Jr. or Hardee’s restaurant the day after. The burger chain is helping tired fans get through the Monday after by giving out free Beyond Meat menu items. Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. are the first to offer plant-based menu items all day long. Diners can choose from a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner item with the purchase of a large drink.

Every year, an average of 17.2 million people are unable to show up for work on the Monday after the Super Bowl. Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s picked this particular Monday to help people repair the damage from the day before by trying one of their Beyond menu items.

“Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s recently partnered with Beyond Meat to become one of the first national U.S. quick-service restaurants to offer all-day plant-based options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner,” said Patty Trevino, Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing at CKE Restaurants. “Now, we look forward to making Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s an escape for Americans with a great-tasting, satisfying plant-based meat deal during this particularly tough Monday.”

Each restaurant brand has different menu items made with Beyond Meat that qualify for the promotion. Carl’s Jr. has the Beyond Sausage breakfast burrito, Beyond Sausage biscuit, Carl’s Jr. Beyond Famous Star burger, and the Carl’s Jr. Beyond BBQ cheeseburger. Hardee’s has a Beyond Sausage burrito, Beyond Sausage biscuit, Beyond Sausage and egg biscuit, and the Hardee’s Original Beyond Thickburger.

The free menu item is only available at participating Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. stores on Monday, February 3, while supplies last.
