If you're planning to fly United for your summer getaway, book your seat now. The airline recently unveiled a beefed-up food and drink menu for certain flights, and one of the new additions is pretty sick—White Claw!
That's right, Frequent Flyers—starting in June, passengers will be able to enjoy the hard seltzer and other snacking possibilities when they board a flight over two hours. It's the first time the refreshing beverage has appeared on an airline, which means those flying United will be the only ones in the sky drinking it. It's those little details that add to the experience, no?
"We know that having a wide variety of gourmet food and beverage options is important to our customers and we look forward to introducing these exciting, new options to enhance their flying experience," said United's chief customer officer Toby Enqvist, chief customer officer in a press release.
Other additions to the menu include a variety of snack boxes, à la carte bites, and gourmet entrées for those in premium deluxe cabins. The adult beverage menu will feature your standard commercial beers like Stella Artois and Michelob ULTRA, as well as wine and regional offerings.

But before you snag that seltzer (it's mango-flavored, by the way), you'll want to brush up on their payment method. To avoid using credit cards, passengers can use a digital wallet to pay for their goods while up in the air. It's simple: before the flight, put your card info on file through United's app or website, and from there'll you'll be able to browse the menu through the wallet. Once you're ready to order, you can confirm your name and seat with the flight attendant, and they'll charge your account. Easy!
White Claw will be available for purchase starting June 1, while the expanded snack options will start rolling out on June 15. It's a great day when White Claw can be sipped from 50,000 feet in the air, don't you think?
