We now have a chance to try the delectable treat from the popular series!
You read that right. Williams Sonoma has now come out with Nevarro Nummies™ Macarons. In Season 2, Episode 4, "The Siege," The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda travel to Nevarro. At one point, Baby Yoda is invited to attend school with other children and steals a classmate's snack. It was delightfully adorable.
So delightful, in fact, that Williams Sonoma created a product based on the stolen treat.
For $49.95 (plus applicable taxes and shipping), you'll receive 12 bright blue macarons. That's more than $4 per macaron. But are they worth the cost? Your mouth just might water as you read the description:
"Inspired by a sweet moment when a young Nevarro student debated sharing his treats with the Child, 21st-century artisans in California have created these ethereal French-style almond macarons capturing the essence of this scene with Nevarro Nummies™. For authentic galactic flavor, each exquisite treat is artfully hand-piped with a rich, creamy vanilla filling."
Order a dozen of Nevarro Nummies™ Macarons as you watch the next episode of The Mandalorian, currently streaming on Disney+.
Customers have chimed in with mixed reviews of this timely treat.
Questionable (1 star): "So, hear caught my interest as I am a fan of Mandalorian. However, once I saw the price of $50 per dozen, that was an immediate turnoff. Secondly, either the picture is off or you have missed the mark on the color completely. These appear as a mint green in your picture and the show has them more as a true blue. So, I think you need to have a reboot on these from a price and color perspective, otherwise you are just ripping people off."
Baby Yoda Nummies! (5 stars): "These are both adorable and delicious! Highly recommend for the Mandalorian fan in your family! I also bought the Baby Yoda mugs from WS and will gift them together!"
Lol no (1 star): 1. These the wrong color
2. Whoever thought to charge over 4 bucks per tiny af vanilla cookie dusted blue from a cookware company should speak with hr
3. No one in the star wars universe would ever say the word "mummies" tf?
4. Just no."
