Visions of roasted turkey luscious pies and yummy savory treats fill our thoughts at just the mention of Thanksgiving Day. It also makes us remember some of those not-so-traditional dishes that tend to make their way to the family table.  

We took a trip into the treasure trove that is the internet to find some of the all-time most bizarre recipes involving our favorite Thanksgiving ingredients. Take a look at what we found and see if any of these culinary delights ever made their way to your plate. 

Turkey Cake

We love cake, cake is awesome. Turkey has no place near the cake. So, seeing them on the same plate can be a bit disconcerting ... but it's a thing, and people actually eat it. We may just have to eat an entire chocolate cake right now to erase this abomination from our memories.
