Annual series lets you relax in nature while you soak in some good tunes. 

Where can you catch Ziggy Marley, Gipsy Kings, and explore the expressive capacity of the human form against the backdrop of diverse botanical environments? The Denver Botanic Gardens! 

The gardens recently announced its summer concert series, and tickets will go on sale early April. 

"Situated in one of the nation’s top botanic gardens, these concerts offer an unrivaled ambiance, pairing a breathtaking setting with music from some of the world’s most sought-after acts," said the gardens. "The concerts offer thousands of blooming plants and crystal-clear music."

In addition to the concerts, the gardens will also feature the exhibition Human | Nature: Figures from the Craig Ponzio Sculpture Collection throughout the grounds. So you can enjoy an evening full of art, nature, and music. 

Tickets for the concert series go on sale the week of April 1 for members. To take advantage of the member price and sales dates, you must be a new, upgraded, or renewed member by March 27, 2019. General ticket sales will be open to the public on April 9 at 10 a.m.

  • July 18: Michael McDonald, 6:30 p.m.
  • August 5: Double Vision Revisited with Bob James, David Sanborn, and Marcus Miller, 6:30 p.m.
  • August 6: JJ Grey & Mofro and Jonny Lang, 6:30 p.m.
  • August 12: Judy Collins, 6:30 p.m.
  • August 13: An Acoustic Evening with John Hiatt, 6:30 p.m.

These concerts will be held at the UMB Bank Amphitheater, Denver Botanic Gardens on York Street. Daytime admission is not included with your ticket purchase, but you are welcome to explore the gardens during the concert. Seating is first come, first serve, and you can bring a blanket or a chair that does not exceed 26 inches in an upright position.
