Flip’d by IHOP will sell the brand’s signature pancakes and breakfast sandwiches, along with limited lunch and dinner items.
Ever been on your way to work and wished you had time to get a fluffy stack of pancakes? IHOP is making that dream come true with its new fast-casual chain called Flip’d. Flip’d by IHOP will offer breakfast lovers a new way to get hot pancakes faster. The new shops will have pancake bowls, egg sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and tasty favorites from IHOP’s lunch and dinner menus.
IHOP has recognized that many people get their breakfast in the same place they get their morning coffee. For the past year or so, the pancake restaurant has pushed its carryout service, IHOP to go. The new Flip’d stores will capitalize on the demand for fast, fresh breakfast with digital kiosks, walk-up counter, and order-ahead service.
“With Flip’d by IHOP, guests don’t have to compromise—now they can get freshly-made, all-day menu items like Pancake Bowls and Egg Sandwiches along with a hand-crafted espresso beverage for a good price and in a matter of minutes,” said Jay Johns, President of IHOP.

A key menu item is the pancake bowl—a base of a buttermilk pancake that can be topped with fresh fruit, cheese, eggs, bacon, and other toppings. Guests can also visit the pancake bar and top their made-to-order pancakes with a buffet of toppings. Flip’d will also have breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and custom breakfast bowls. They are also stepping up the coffee game with espresso drinks and nitro brews. At lunch and dinner, Flip’d will offer Black Angus steakburgers, grilled and crispy chicken sandwiches, salads, and wraps.
The first Flip’d store is scheduled to open this April in Atlanta, Georgia, but the company is looking to expand in 2020 to cities like Washington, D.C., New York City, Denver, and San Francisco.
