The new restaurants are set to open up soon!
Despite the massive blow COVID-19 dealt the restaurant and foodservice business, not everything about the Denver dining scene is bad. In fact, some new restaurants are popping up in places where others have had to close down. One beloved place that is no longer open is the iconic The Market at Larimer Square.
With open leases on prime real estate, there are several new restaurants to look out for near Larimer Square.
This venture is set to open in mid-October and will be a farmer’s market that features local vendors. The market will also have a liquor store that specializes in natural wines. Farmer’s Market already has Lala’s, YAYE Organics, Little Owl Coffee, and several other merchants already lined up.
Slated to open in mid-October or November, the Bao Brewhouse is a creative Chinese street food bistro and tearoom that will take the spot left by Euclid Hall. They are already rolling out their tasty creations for the public and operate a street cart in Larimer square almost daily.
Coffee shop and bar concept with all-day nitro whiskey and espresso on tap. Fresh baked goods and more, the opening is tentatively set for mid-October.
Ice cream shop and interactive art installation hoping to open mid-October.
Set to open in December, this establishment is a blend of delicious fried chicken and 1960s soul music.
This new lounge is all about spinning vinyl and serving up garage brews. Garage Sale is already open for signature drinks and snacks and is planning to add street tacos to the menu in the near future.
It looks like there are plenty of new and exciting dining options coming to Larimer Square. Though we will miss the many beloved businesses that are no longer there, it's wonderful to see new life coming to these closed spaces and watch as a new generation and new crowd of people learn to love Larimer Square.
