Ocean City's beloved Dough Roller still has two locations open for carryout!
Ocean City is filled with unforgettable restaurants and eateries! But one of my personal favorites is the Dough Roller, an iconic place for pizza and pancakes. And after more than 40 years in business, this beloved chain is still going strong. Even in the midst of a pandemic, the restaurant is open for carryout at its two Coastal Highway locations, from 11 a.m. to close!
Back in 1979, Bill Gibbs became the owner of the Breakers Hotel on the Ocean City Boardwalk. Knowing that visitors to the area were always looking for a good place to eat lunch, he decided that the hotel's front porch would be "the perfect place" to open a restaurant "offering pizza and pancakes." And in 1980, he turned that thought into a reality, naming the restaurant "The Dough Roller."
Since its front porch beginnings, The Dough Roller has expanded to multiple locations and become a favorite food destination for the Ocean City visitors and locals alike.

The Dough Roller's food is obviously one of the major reasons that they've become so beloved. A jack of all trades, the restaurant serves delicious appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, but where they really shine is their iconic pizza!
You can get creative and create your own pizza, or choose from their specialty recipes, such as the Pepperoni Obsessed, the Buffalo Chicken, or the Dough Roller Original. In fact, their pizza has been voted OC's Best for the last 19 years.

Their other specialty is breakfast. Choose from buttermilk pancakes, french toast, or waffles, or enjoy something more savory, like omelets, omelet-style sandwiches, and fresh country eggs. Check out their full menu here.
