More turf and less surf, Maryland's capital "stakes" its claim for some of the Mid-Atlantic's best steak.
Not sure where to go for a good steak? Don't have a cow! (sorry). Annapolis may be known for its seafood, but it should also get recognition for its quality steakhouses. Here are three spots offering quality cuts of steak at reasonable prices—without skimping on the meat!

A family operation since 1921, Lewnes Steakhouse knows a thing or two about steak. They're the first restaurant in Annapolis to serve U.S. Prime steak, which is impressive considering only two percent of American beef gets that designation. Their menu features classic cuts like filet mignon, New York strip, and the ever-juicy ribeye, and for a separate cost, you can add a salad or potato side. They also have a massive wine list, so order a glass of red for the perfect pairing. Take a look at the menu here.

A local chain in Maryland and Virginia, this sports bar offers a tasty array of steaks in a laidback atmosphere. Try the tender filet mignon or channel New Orleans' French Quarter with their "Bourbon Street Delmonico," a 14-ounce Cajun-spiced ribeye. Some entrees include a choice of sides, and from Monday to Friday they offer their Prime Time Specials, all priced at $9.99. Just add a refreshing brew for a weekday treat! View their menu here!

This chain is a reliable place to go for a quality steak. Not only do they use certified Angus beef, but their steaks are freshly cut and seasoned in-house. They cook on a Montague broiler, which is known for steak-grilling perfection! Go simple with the Stoney River Legendary Filet, or try the Coffee-Cured Filet Mignon for a savory twist. All of their steaks come with a choice of side, including parmesan fries and a whole-pound baked potato! Click here to see their full menu.
