This year's winner is Central in Lima, Peru! Described as a restaurant "where diners can enjoy a trip through 15 different Peruvian ecosystems, categorized by altitude—from 15 meters under the Pacific Ocean to 4,200 meters up in the Andes," the restaurant first appeared on this list back in 2013 at No. 50. Since then, it's been able to become the first-ever South American eatery to win the coveted title of The World's Best Restaurant.
