Wide receiver Michael Westbrook, former University of Colorado player, is among 75 finalists for the College Football Hall of Fame.

Michael Westbrook has been announced as one of the 75 finalists for the College Football Hall of Fame 2018 class. The class will be announced on January 8, 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. Westbrook made history when he had the most memorable catch in CU history, which you can watch in the video below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KufuQGUB1y0 Westbrook was a two-time first-team All-American, both his sophomore year (1992) and his senior year (1994). Westbrook is among a star-studded group of nominees, including Tony Gonzalez (California), Eric Crouch (Nebraska), Ray Lewis (Miami), Jake Plummer (Arizona), and many more. During the 2018 season, members of the Hall of Fame class will participate in numerous activities to further celebrate their accomplishments. First, throughout the fall, each inductee will be honored on the field at his respective school with an NFF On-Campus Salute, presented by Fidelity Investments. The formal induction ceremony will follow on Dec. 4, 2018, during the 61st NFF Annual Awards Dinner at the New York Hilton Midtown. Later in December, the Class of Fame Salute during the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and be officially recognized within the College Football Hall of Fame."
