New Colorado Avalanche jerseys are coming, and you'll have the chance to purchase your own when they go on sale on Friday, September 15.

The Avalanche are primed and ready for the 2017-2018 season, and with the new season come new Avalanche jerseys. Because, come on, if you're going to dominate the ice, you gotta look good doing it! The new home and road Adidas ADIZERO jerseys will be available for purchase at Altitude Authentics at the Pepsi Center starting on Friday, September 15. Those who are Avs season ticket members will be able to purchase the new jerseys on September 15 at 9 a.m., a full hour before they go on sale to the general public. https://twitter.com/Avalanche/status/877345402072301568
Only blank jerseys will be available, but if you're wanting to get your jersey customized through Altitude Authentics, it can take about four to six weeks in turnaround time. So, you might be better off waiting to have a player's name/number on the jersey, since the Avs will likely have player jerseys on sale before the home opener on October 11. Blank jerseys will cost $180, which ends up at about $109 in savings -- the old Reebok RBK Edge jersey originally cost about $289, and they are now $129. The select Avs jerseys, once available, will cost $240. You can also purchase the new practice jerseys for $129. So, what exactly are the differences between the new and old jerseys? Well, according to the press release,
Colorado's new sweater is a modern take on the iconic jersey from the club's inaugural season in Denver. The sweater's signature hemlines portray the Rocky Mountain landscape and the bold silver trim pays homage to the state's silver mining history. The Colorado state flag-inspired 'C' mark on the shoulder returns, while the numbers and workmark are influenced by the original font but provides a clearer arena and broadcast experience."
