Crazy things happen when baseball is played in the altitude at Coors Field, but this one takes the cake.

On Sunday, August 26, the Colorado Rockies baseball team suffered a brutal 12-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues hockey team. That's right! The Blues ditched their skates for cleats and hockey sticks for baseball gloves. Somehow, the playoff contender Rockies managed to drop an important game to a hockey team.

Wait a minute ... that can't be right.

Fox2 had some difficulty keeping their sports teams in order over the weekend. They mistakenly named the St. Louis Cardinals the St. Louis Blues despite using the correct logo when showing the score of the Rockies game.

To be fair, there's a lot of constantly updating data running through the sports world. This makes it really difficult to stay on top of every score, news story, and team. But, every now and then, it's okay to enjoy an occasional blunder.

Fox2 was not done celebrating the St. Louis Blues just yet, with the hockey team managing to steal even more of the spotlight. The Blues ended up ditching their baseball gloves for some horsepower this time. During the broadcast of the Bommarito Automotive 500, you can find the Blues logo in the bottom right corner.

What a complete day for the Blues hockey team -- they hosted their Ice Breaker event in St. Louis, then traveled all the way to Denver to beat the Rockies very badly (six runs in the first inning), and then topped it off by traveling right back home for some more sports action, competing in the Bommarito Automotive 500.

Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, Tim Tebow, and even John Elway are well known for being two-sport athletes. I can assure none of these four players ever pulled off three sports in one day like the Blues managed to do, according to Fox News 2.
