The Denver Broncos were purchased by Ron Walton, heir to Walmart, for a reported $4.65 billion!

It's official, Broncos Country. The Denver Broncos have a new owner! The team has been purchased by the Walton-Penner group, which includes heir to Walmart Rob Walton, his daughter Carrie Walton Penner, and her husband Greg Penner.

Rob said they're "thrilled to move forward with the purchase of the Denver Broncos ... Carrie, Greg, and I are inspired by the opportunity to steward this great organization in a vibrant community full of opportunity and passionate fans."
