The MLB has unveiled its holiday caps and special event uniforms that will be worn by the Rockies during the 2018 season!

The Colorado Rockies, along with the remainder of the MLB, have released their holiday caps and jerseys for the 2018 season. The special uniforms will be worn for Jackie Robinson Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day weekend, and Independence Day weekend. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Jackie Robinson Foundation (Jackie Robinson Day), Susan G. Komen (Mother's Day), Prostate Cancer Foundation (Father's Day), Stand Up to Cancer (Mother's Day and Father's Day), and MLB Charities (Independence Day). Jackie Robinson Day | Sunday, April 15

[gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="35104,35100,35102"] This year marks as the 71st anniversary of Jackie Robinson's MLB debut. And ever since 2009, the MLB has celebrated Jackie Robinson Day by wearing the number "42" on their jerseys. Their caps and jersey sleeves will also have a commemorative patch in honor of the baseball player.

Mother's Day | Sunday, May 13

holiday caps During games on Mother's Day, the Rockies will be wearing a pink hat and their usual Club jerseys with a pink ribbon on the left chest. This became a tradition in 2006, and players will use pink bats, wear pink wristbands and more to help raise awareness for breast cancer.

Memorial Day Weekend | Saturday, May 26, to Monday, May 28

[gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="35108,35109,35110"] In honor of those who lost their lives while serving their country, the MLB will participate in the National Moment of Remembrance on Memorial Day -- ballparks will conduct moments of silence and special pregame ceremonies. The players will don a camouflage-designed cap and matching jersey. The right side of the cap has five stars which signify the five branches of the military.

Father's Day | Sunday, June 17

holiday caps Father's Day uniforms will be very similar to Mother's Day, with the team wearing their usual Club jerseys with a blue ribbon on the left chest and light blue caps, along with blue wristbands and socks. This is to help raise awareness for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Independence Day Weekend | Monday, July 2, to Wednesday, July 4
