The magical swaddle-transition sleepsack by Sleeping Baby turns into the perfect wearable blanket for your toddler!
Zipadee-Zip, the popular sleepsack made famous by ABC's Shark Tank, is not just for babies. It can also double as a cozy blanket for your toddler—one that you don't have to worry about slipping off in the middle of the night. As an added bonus, if you want to keep your little one in the crib for longer (and who doesn't?), it prevents them from climbing out!
My son loved to be swaddled as an infant. When he was first born, my husband and I actually swaddled him ourselves. Eventually, we got smart and bought HALO's SleepSack Swaddle that does all the work for you. Unfortunately, good things must come to an end, and once he started rolling over, it wasn't exactly safe anymore. Although to be honest, we kept him in it as long as we possibly could.

After we finally admitted to ourselves that he could no longer wear our favorite sleepsack, I came across Sleeping Baby's Zipadee-Zip. It was the product made just for us! As their website claims, it's "THE solution to the swaddle transition." Our son still had a bit of the startle reflex and needed that cozy feel of the womb, but also needed to be able to roll over and wiggle around.
Fast-forward to now where he's almost 2, and he still wears one! The Zipadee-Zip ranges in size from x-small to x-large, or 3 months to 3 years. They run big, allowing you to keep your little one in the same size for a while.
Our active guy is mischevious and quite the daredevil, and we know if it wasn't for the Zipadee-Zip, he would surely have climbed out of his crib by now. We also have never had to worry about him being cold or keeping the covers on at night. He doesn't even sleep with a blanket for this reason.

Now, with every great product, there are usually downsides. These polyester or cotton sleepsacks aren't exactly cheap. They run from $32.95–$38.95 depending on color, print, and material. If you want to get fancy, you can also add embroidery for an additional $7. Due to price, we've only purchased one in each size that he's needed, but I really recommend having at least two on hand.
We've all been there when we've forgotten the laundry in the wash, and it's suddenly naptime or bedtime. Or worse, you've had a diaper explosion and don't have time to run a load of laundry. So, I urge you to buy one to start, and if you love it, buy another!
I will say Sleeping Baby runs a lot of promotions if you follow them on social media or sign up for their mailing list, so you can definitely score a coupon or a free shipping code.

The only other complaint I've seen from reviews (and myself included) is the quality of the material. It does pill, stain if your child sucks on their hands, and the seams can split. I don't think we'll be passing ours down to any future children, but since he wears it every day for bedtime and naps, I'd say we've gotten our money's worth.
Sleeping Baby also has a line of adorable pajamas called the Flying Squirrel for ages 1 to 5, as well as sleeping bags, bodysuits, and rompers. Our little guy is currently in a size large Zipadee-Zip, and we're planning on buying him a size x-large for the fall once more colors are back in stock!
