First Friday Art Walk kicks off the beginning of the month of August. Explore a mix of all art forms, galleries, and shops that reside within the art district. Admire local artists' paintings and sculptures and don't forget to grab a bite from one of the food trucks.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver presents music event B-Side Music. The event is a night to dance and headbang to some of the newest musical acts in Denver, and features performances from artists like Moon Hammer and West Watkins.

Walker Fine Art hosts Enchanted Garden, which invites guests to immerse themselves into nature as represented by various artists. Artists like Angela Beloian and Don Quade interpret their perception of a garden, be it fecund or curated, magical, or threatening.

Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants

Denver Art Museum hosts Free Day at Dam the first Saturday of every month, where visitors can walk around and explore the various exhibitions running at the moment. The latest exhibition is The Light Show, which features a thought-provoking narrative of the perception of light in art.

The Museum of Contemporary art brings back Penny Admission, a day in the month where Colorado residents can visit the museum for only a penny. Scout out the streets or your pockets for a brown penny and explore the museum's latest exhibitions, like Clark Richert in hyperspace and The Nth Dimension.

Sunday, August 4

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince In Concert

The Colorado Symphony presents the music of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in concert in honor of Harry Potter's 21st anniversary. The event features the most memorable moments of the film as the symphony plays the film's score live. Get tickets here.

Final Après Yoga at Ratio

Take a pause before the beginning of the week and Namasté at Yoga Rocks the Park. The event provides guided meditation with an instructor from the Mayu Sanctuary. Poka's Peroni Soiree
