Ceremony at Fort Logan National Cemetery
When: Monday, May 29, 11 a.m.

Sponsored by the Associated Veterans of Colorado, speakers at this event include Congressman Mike Coffman, Sally Howser Hanfelder of the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Colorado National Guard Brig. Gen. Donald Laucirica. A ceremonial wreath will be placed at a symbolic grave marker, and the traditional 21-gun salute will be fired by the Honor Guard. The most touching part of the ceremony is very possibly the performance of famous bugle call "Taps" by musicians from Bugles Around the World, as they spread out and play from around the lake.
