Put on your witch hat, grab your best buds and gouls, and enjoy some spooky music this Halloween.

Where will you be when the ghosts and goblins come out to play on Halloween night? If you’ve had your fill of candy and horror movies, consider checking out a live show on October 31. It’s the perfect way to get seen in your costume while enjoying some bone-chilling tunes. Gather your friends, pop in a pair of fangs, and get ready to dance your way into November.

Check out these three artists coming to Denver venues on Halloween night:

Itchy-O at Summit

This Denver-based avant-garde performance group was voted best experimental band three years running by Westword. This self-proclaimed disorienting collective of 50 musicians delivers a fierce, untethered sound with elaborate percussion and electronic instruments. If that’s not enough to convince you, Itchy-O presents a visual spectacle with dancers, fog machines, strobe lights, and more. Itchy-O intends to eliminate the divide between the performers and the audience, so show up ready to get freaky at Summit on Halloween night.

Danzig at The Fillmore Auditorium

Former Misfits member Glenn Danzig is the front man behind Danzig, a heavy metal band influenced by the bluesy sound of early Black Sabbath. Formed in 1987, this group has played many Halloween shows before this one, and you can bet they’ll have some dark and gloomy songs to get you in the spirit of the holiday.

The Widdler at Black Box

For those looking to step into the dubstep scene on Halloween, check out The Widdler at Black Box. This performer has been producing music since he was 10 years old and is widely revered as one of the innovators of dub sound. And because his sound falls on the darker side of electronic music, his sinister mixes make the perfect backdrop to your Halloween celebration.

The Joy Formidable at Globe Hall

Looking for something more low-key? Perhaps you’d like to take a break from the terror and listen to some feel-good alternative rock. Welsh band The Joy Formidable just released their fourth album, and they’re visiting all the way from London on Halloween night. So if you’re not into spooky electronic music or gloomy heavy metal, take a break from the chaos and enjoy The Joy Formidable.
