Winter is officially over, and now the wild flowers are starting to come out and say hello. Farmers markets are opening up their doors and people are itching to get outside and enjoy the beautiful spring weather! Rodeo All-Star Weekend April 14-15 | National Western Complex

Denver spring The ultimate in pro-rodeo realness. This huge competition will have all-star contestants from all over the world. Check out all the cowboy action, as well as all the great food, entertainment, and mutton bustin' you can handle!

Cinco de Mayo May 5-6 | Civic Center Park

Denver spring Prepare your livers and grab your sombreros. The Cinco de Mayo Festival is known as one of the largest cultural events in the state, garnering over 400,000 visitors each year. Head to Civic Center Park to enjoy live music on three stages, tons of vendors, amazing food and drinks, tons of activities for the kids and of course the HUGE parade! I mean, where else could you watch a chihuahua race?? Oh, and you simply can't miss the highly competitive green chili cook-off!

Denver Day of Rock May 27 | Downtown Denver

Denver spring Four words: Free outdoor music festival. What more could you ask for? Taking place in the heart of downtown, the annual Denver Day of Rock brings out dozens of performers to rock out and send good vibes throughout our city. There will be five stages of live music. Seriously it's free, so there is no excuse to not attend and get your rock 'n' roll on.

Denver Arts Festival May 27-28 | Stapleton's Conservatory Green

Denver spring Rock 'n' Roll not your thing? No worries, the Denver Arts Festival is the perfect event to enjoy a lovely Denver spring. Featuring both Colorado artists and a select group of national artists, over 50,000 art lovers come out to celebrate arts, do some buying, and enjoy the day. Even if you do want to attend Denver Day of Rock, you have the next day to come enjoy the art! Talk about a great weekend.
