Last year, and for the past 40 years (isn’t that incredible?!), Adams Morgan Day has been a festival that celebrates the diversity of the neighborhood and highlights the best it has to offer.

On Sunday, September 9, the day-long Adams Morgan Day festival is back and better than ever! It will run from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

According to the festival website

“Adams Morgan Day is a family-friendly celebration with music, art, and activities for all ages. We welcome residents and visitors alike to meet our neighborhood businesses, artists, and service organizations.”

There will, of course, be many a food and drink special for you to take advantage of. One of the best things to do is head to a rooftop at a place like Roofers Union and enjoy free live music, drinks, and views of the entire shindig. You’ll also be able to walk around and shop the booths of the local vendors. It’s the perfect time to pick up that unique print to complete your gallery wall or that adorable mug to elevate all your coffee-drinking mornings. And by being a patron or by purchasing something, you’re helping support the community. What can be better than that?

Adams Morgan Day is open to the public and completely free to attend. You can get more detailed information about the event here

And to get the basic gist of the activities you should absolutely be participating in, make sure to read our guide from last year.
