Still haven’t decided what to do Halloween weekend? Baltimore’s Nevermore Haunt is perhaps the area’s best adults only haunted house.

The Nevermore Haunt, now in its third year, has quickly become one of the more popular Halloween haunted houses in the region. The haunted house is set in the old Kaufman’s warehouse store in what used to be known as “Old Town.” In 2015, Engineered Fear Productions was established and acquired the property solely for creating a truly scary haunted house, while also helping the city to bring vitality back to the community. Most Halloween haunted houses rely on animatronics and lame props that wouldn’t even scare the smallest of children, but the Nevermore Haunt hires actors to provide the thrills and chills each year. One difference is that live actors reach out and grab unsuspecting visitors, which is certain to scare most patrons. The costumes and scenes are also fairly elaborate. Since the haunted house has been designed to cater to adults, kids 12 and under are not permitted and those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $25, with the haunted house open October 26-31 and November 3-4. For more info and tickets, visit the Nevermore Haunt’s website.
