Don your hat and head down to the 27th annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival, this weekend, July 1-3.
A long-held Denver tradition, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival will feature the masterpieces of 260 carefully-selected artist exhibitors from around the country, along with performing arts presentations and culinary delights. Basically, anything that fits into the category of art (whether visual, culinary, or performing) will be celebrated along Cherry Creek North's charming tree-lined streets during the three-day extravaganza.
WHEN: Sat., July 1 -- 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. | Sun., July 2 -- 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. | Mon., July 3 -- 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. WHERE: Denver’s Cherry Creek North Shopping District (2nd to 3rd Avenues, between Clayton Street and Steele Streets)
[gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="18227,18232,18235,18236"]Admission is FREE, though there will be a plethora of things to spend your money on -- from that art piece you just can't live without, to a cup o' Italian ice. A wide variety of food is available for purchase along "Culinary Avenue," and the event's stages will be bustling with performers all weekend long (some performances require tickets for purchase).
[gallery size="full" ids="18225,18230,18233"]The family-friendly event also includes an entire row of artistic activities for children (called "ARTivities") to keep kids entertained and inspire the creative talent of Denver's youngest budding artists.

There is even a first-aid station and a diaper-changing station. And, in case you buy an art piece that needs to be framed, you can visit the on-site framer to get it taken care of before you go home.
