The holidays are all about food. And if you celebrate Hanukkah, you know that no food is more festive than latkes.

The Commissary, a neighborhood favorite in Logan Circle, is hosting a Hanukkah Happy Hour on Monday, December 18, featuring all-you-can eat latkes and festive drinks.

The Hanukkah Happy Hour will also feature a deep-fried donut bar, so if you’re going to have a cheat day, make it this one. And while you’re stuffing your face and enjoying a cocktail or two, you can feel good about yourself because 10 percent of ticket proceeds will go to the Jewish Food Experience, an organization that works to increase awareness of the Jewish culture and heritage through food. The Commissary is a Logan Circle staple -- a homey restaurant, bar, and café. Aside from the Happy Hour event, you could stop by to grab a cup of coffee and work on your computer from one of the lounge chairs with the same ease as you could grab a beer with your friends at the bar at night.
