Celebrate the history of wine in Virginia at the Mount Vernon Spring and Wine Festival!
When: May 13th-15th 6-9p.m.
Where: Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens
Celebrate the history of wine in Virginia the right way by sipping a glass of pinot or whatever your pallet calls for. Have the opportunity to tour the Mansion and Cellar and meet "George and Martha Washington".
While you sip a glass of wine, relax and enjoy the sunset with live jazz on the east lawn overlooking the Potomac river. There will be 20 local wineries, so you will be sure to find something you love!
With all of that wine tasting, you will eventually need a little food. There will be a variety of sandwiches and desserts thanks to Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant. All of the proceeds will go to the preservation and restoration of Mount Vernon and its educational program.
