Western Welcome Week makes its 89th come back in August!

What originally started as a "homecoming" in the 1920s soon turned into an annual celebration in downtown Littleton. Western Welcome Week makes its 89th comeback this year and will have more than 40 events that will benefit dozens of local civic and charitable organizations.

Don't panic if you can't make it to a certain day -- Western Welcome Week will be happening for nine total days! The theme this year will be a "thank you" to all police, military, and firemen and women within our community. For nine whole days, we'll celebrate all they've done and continue to do to keep the community safe and respected.

When: Fri., Aug. 11 – Sun., Aug. 20 Where: Downtown Littleton

The biggest day for events will be Saturday, August 19. Bring your family and attend the Littleton Firefighter's Children's Parade at 8:45 a.m., followed by the Grand Parade at 10 a.m. Not only will there be plenty of activities for the kids, but there will be plenty of activities for adults, too, such as drink and food specials. Also, don't miss out on the live music by local bands, dancing, and arts and crafts by local vendors. This yearly celebration is a favorite for many, so make sure you get there on time!
