Not sure where to take the family this Halloween? Summer’s Farm Fall Festival features more than 45 activities, including a corn maze, pumpkin patch and more!

The annual Summer’s Farm Fall Festival in Frederick is an ideal family event that caters to all. Each year the venue’s dozens of activities provide full day’s worth of fun for toddlers, kids, teens and adults. There are plenty of places that feature corn mazes, animals and fun games like the apple buster and pumpkin punisher. Plus, they've gone the extra mile by including things like fireworks and live music. The festival is open daily through October 31, so make sure you visit before it's too late! The venue has divided the 12-acre maze into different levels so that visitors of all ages are both challenged and entertained. The pumpkin patch is also a big draw, with the wagon escorting visitors to the patch where they can pick their own pumpkin to carve. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. The Farm also features tug of war, mini golf and tether ball. While Summer’s Farm has more activities than most, the venue hasn't excluded activities like giant slides, pig races, rubber duck races, a petting zoo, wagon rides and rope swings. Your kids will love the jump areas, with large pillows setup t0 let them cut loose and have fun. Other activities include farm basketball, a straw mountain, and a variety of mazes like a right-turn only maze, crazy color maze and swing-the-ring maze. They'll have some of Maryland’s best food, from cheeseburgers and chicken bacon jerk sandwiches, to pulled pork and funnel cakes, to cotton candy, wood-fired pizza and soft pretzels. The fireworks displays on weekend nights are a great way to cap off a full day of family fun. If you're interested, the Farm offers campfire rentals that can accommodate up to 40 people, and marshmallows are available from the food stations so guests can roast s'mores while enjoying the firework displays above.
