Celebrate the arrival of fall at the annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival by Four Mile Historic Park. Pick out your pumpkin from the patch, build a scarecrow, and ride in a horse-drawn wagon.

"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" Each year, folks across Colorado journey to welcome the fall season at the annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival, hosted by Four Mile Historic Park. Between the opportunities to build your own scarecrow, pick the perfect pumpkin from the patch, and get a tour of the Park in a horse-drawn wagon, this October weekend will be one you and your kiddos won't forget. [gallery columns="2" size="large" ids="21836,21838"] The Four Mile Historic Park aims to "educate a diverse community through experiences which promote preservation, interpretation, and enjoyment of Denver's western heritage." The festival fulfills that mission by giving guests a historic view of how families lived and got ready for the fall season during the 19th century. Admission is free. However, additional charges may apply for beverages and a few of the activities. There is a beer garden available, but only if you're age 21 and older. Also, as fun as it would be to bring your furry friends with you, please leave them at home. For more information on the festival, please visit Four Mile Historic Park's website. What is your favorite part of the fall season? Is it the pumpkins, the cooler weather, the holidays, or something else? Also, will you be attending the Pumpkin Harvest Festival? Have you been before?
