The vendors along King Street in Old Town Alexandria want everyone to come out for a fall block party this weekend! Bring the whole family for arts and crafts, raffles, treats, beverages, and children's activities.

From all-day happy hour at Vermillion to face painting and a visit with a fire truck, the businesses of King Street are rolling out the red carpet for visitors this coming Saturday, November 3. There will be plenty of activities, free samples, and live music throughout the day as you re-discover the streets of Old Town Alexandria.

WHEN: Saturday, November 3, 2018 | 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
WHERE: King Street between Patrick and Payne Streets in Old Town Alexandria (1000, 1100, and 1200 blocks of King Street)
COST: FREE

PARKING: Street parking and one parking garage at Market Square. Drive down on Duke and turn in toward King Street once you get close to avoid congestion -- there may be intermittent road closures for setup and activities.

METRO: Get off at the King Street stop

In addition to free treats and sips, some businesses will be offering significant discounts. Hank's Oyster Bar will have $1.25 oysters at the bar all day! Throughout the day, a raffle will raise money for the George Washington Orchestra, and the Rainbow Rock Band will play at noon. For a full schedule of events, visit the Uptown Block Party Facebook page.
