  How People Make Things Exhibition May 21 – August 28 $8 Adults, $5 students/seniors, free for ages 3 & under How People Make Things is a new exhibit that opened in late may at the Longmont Museum. Add this weekend event to your list and have the whole family learning and having fun. This exhibit tells the story of how things came into this world by linking childhood objects to manufacturing processes that combines people, ideas, and technology. How People Make Things offers hands-on activities with real factory tools and machines to make objects that mold, cut, deform, and assemble. You can don overalls or lab coats, pour moldable wax, and interact with these processes to learn How People Make Things.   2016 Jeffco Fair & Festival August 11 – 14 Out for its inaugural year, the Jeffco Fair & Festival is a re-imagined version of previous fairs and festivals held throughout Jefferson County history.
