The Telluride Horror Show is a yearly spook fest featuring the best in horror films. Visit the most beautiful place in Colorado to get the pants scared off you.

Telluride Horror Show is Colorado's first -- and longest-running -- horror film festival. And I couldn't thank the great pumpkin more. As a horror and Halloween fan, and for those like me, this is the perfect warm-up to our favorite holiday. From October 13 to 15, Telluride's beautiful landscape is enhanced by the murderous, gruesome, shocking, and bloody. Okay, "enhanced" may be a stretch for some ... but for horror movie fans, this event is a destination. The crew behind the Telluride Horror Show just announced its initial lineup. And hold on to your machetes, because it's a nightmare!

Downrange

https://youtu.be/wBf0xLj7FhU By the same director of Midnight Meat Train, Ryuhei Kitamura, Downrange is a gruesome story of a group of friends who end up stranded on an isolated road and are slowly hunted and picked off by a sniper. If this move is anything like Midnight Meat Train, it will be filled with some surprising twists -- and definitely a lot of blood.

Jungle

https://youtu.be/wo9JE92jt1g Jungle stars Daniel Radcliffe and follows a story of man vs. nature as a survival story. We're familiar with Radcliffe in this type of horror genre -- like the strange-but-creepy Swiss Army Man. While SAM isn't technically considered a horror, Radcliffe played the part of a cadaver that helps a man find his way through a dense forest. We'll see how HP himself fares survival in Jungle.

Eat Local

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK5bgyqVWa4 If you're into campy horror, Eat Local will be the film for you. This vampire flick hailing from the UK will supply you with a plethora of one-liners you can use for a lifetime.

Housewife

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuBs3WtYnLY Directed by Can Evrenol, Housewife is a sexy, horrifying nightmare that will likely leave you without sleep for a few days. That shouldn't be a problem, though -- horror fans are always looking for the next -- and best -- scare. This year's Telluride Horror Show is STACKED with some amazing horror films to scare the pants off of fans. If you're a true horror buff, the Horror Show is the perfect event for you to catch all the spooky premieres to satisfy your thirst for blood and guts and ghouls. Visit the official website to score your tickets and view the first wave of movies and special guests! Will you be attending the Telluride Horror Show?
