What could be better on a summer night after a long work week than free music? How about free music in a Beer & Wine Garden!
Every Friday until August 24 you can celebrate the start of each and every well-deserved weekend with great tunes and a drink in hand.
The concert series, which officially kicked off on June 2, runs from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. each Friday night through August 24. Don’t be afraid to visit on multiple Fridays because the music and the refreshments are never on repeat! Come enjoy a new band and a new restaurant, each Friday night, as they serve up a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. As for food, numerous restaurants are located at the Hunt Valley Towne Centre, so feel free to grab a bite before the concert or get some yummy food to go to enjoy during the performance.
Whatever you're into music-wise, there’s bound to be a night to suit your fancy. Check out the full lineup of the upcoming performing bands here. With names like “The Fugitives,” “The Reagan Years,” and “Junkyard Saints,” among others, it promises to be one fun evening. Who knows? You may even discover a local band that sweeps you off your feet and has you humming their tunes well into the weekend.
This is a family-friendly event so feel free to bring the little ones along. Come a bit earlier at 7 p.m. and catch a free pre-concert magic show performed by Liam Laugherty. Then during the concert, kids can have fun with free balloon art.
The fun doesn't stop there. The Hunt Valley Towne Centre is a buzzing place no matter what day of the week it is! There are shops, restaurants, a Wegmans grocery store (BIG fan of the ready-to-eat food bar), and plenty of events throughout the year. Whether you need a manicure (Spa in the Valley), are itching to buy the latest best-seller for your beach read (Greetings & Readings), or want an extra-cool treat (Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream) – this place has you covered. And there is so much more! Go check it out for yourself.
The goal of the FREE concert series event is to offer the community a relaxing and energizing gathering place to jump-start the weekend. The businesses are also part of the community and love being involved in this event, which has been held for over 10 years.
So grab some chairs or a blanket, and head over to Hunt Valley Towne Centre on a balmy Friday evening. Take some time to actually enjoy the summer before you’re wondering where it went! And since this is an outdoor event, in case of rain, please check the Hunt Valley Towne Centre Facebook page or their website for updated information and any cancellations. The Hunt Valley Towne Centre is located at 118 Shawan Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030.
