Go ham over wine and pork with a side of fast cars and live music, all benefitting CALF's City to Ranch Programs.
If you are a fan of savory locally raised pork prepared by local chefs, delicious wine, live music, and awesome cars (not necessarily in that order), then we’ve got the event for you. And don't worry, no one will judge you for making a pig of yourself.
On September 20, come down to Cork & Pork with a little torque at Mike Ward Maserati in Highlands Ranch. Funds raised will go to the Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation (CALF), which runs a working farm south of Castle Rock where people of all ages can go to learn about where their food comes from. This event will specifically help urban and suburban kids come to the ranch to experience firsthand the wonders of agriculture.
CALF is really going whole hog for this event, literally! A whole hog roast, as well as sublime pork bites, prepared by Woodhill Small Batch BBQ and Chef Jason Morse will be ready for your taste buds. In addition, you can enjoy diverse wines provided by Davidsons Beer, Wine & Spirits and beer by Living the Dream Brewery. Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame 2018 Entertainer of the Year Ryan Chrys and The Rough Cuts will grace guests with amazing live music. And let us not forget about the greatest gift pork has ever given to man, BACON! Provided by Tender Belly Bacon.
Since the event is at Mike Ward Maserati, you’ll have a chance to find your dream car (or maybe the in-your-dreams car) among the Maseratis and McLarens that will be on hand. In addition, you can join in a fun golf simulator competition, and experience fun agricultural activities led by local 4-H and FFA members.
If you want to take it a step further, purchase a VIP ticket to enjoy a unique, exclusive wine and pork tasting including discussions with chef and wine experts; an exclusive cooking event at Sur la Table on another date; early access to all Cork and Pork food and wine; an engraved cork and pork tasting glass; and exclusive door prizes.
