Ask Jon Heder to give you his tots. He will probably think that's hysterical.
The Paramount Theatre is hosting an event Friday, Oct. 12, that can only be described as -- gosh, I am so sorry about this joke -- um, it can be described as, uh, "Dynamite."
This is the description, per the Paramount Theatre website:
"This unique evening includes a full screening of 'Napoleon Dynamite' followed by a lively, freewheeling, moderated discussion with fan-favorite cast members; Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Efren Ramirez (Pedro), and John Gries (Uncle Rico)."
This movie is hysterical and contains the line, "I caught you a delicious bass. Wanna play me?" which, FYI, is the funniest line in all of cinema. This is a fact.
Because this show takes place in Colorado, I demand Uncle Rico actually try to throw a football over them mountains. I mean, there are mountains handy.
I can only imagine what will take place in this "freewheeling" discussion, but given how low-budget the movie was (Jon Heder was reportedly only paid $1,000 for his role as Napoleon) and how much of a cult following it developed, I'd say these folks probably have some pretty good stories.
I hope the guy who played Kip shows up and fights in an actual cage fight. I hope everything worked out between him and LaFawnduh. Maybe Efren Ramirez, who played Pedro, will teach you how to have a sweet bike and be really good at hooking up with chicks.
Oh, and you can annoy your friends ... "How was the Napoleon Dynamite thing?"
"The worst day of my life what do you think?"
You can go to this event, OR YOU CAN STAY HOME AND EAT ALL THE FREAKIN' CHIPS, KIP.
