Don't miss the National Alpaca Show coming to Denver March 17th-19th!

When: March 17th-19th March 17th & 18th: 8-5p.m.; March 19th 8-3p.m. Where: National Western Complex in Denver Price: FREE Don't miss hundreds of alpacas being shown, bought and sold March 17th-19th. Surprisingly, Colorado is becoming increasingly popular for alpacas as the number of breeders and owners increases. Therefore, it's only right that the National Alpaca Show is held here! Not only will there be an abundance of furry alpacas, but there will be weavers, knitters, and spinners who be selling their unique crafts.

The Alpaca Owners Association, founded in 1991, assures us that the fleece taken from the alpacas is done without any harm to the animals. There are two different types of alpacas you will see. The first is the Suri, which is silky and has pencil-like fur, and the other (which is the most common) is the fluffy Huacaya. So if you adore these fluffy animals, come check them out at the National Alpaca Show. Admission is completely FREE. If you're looking for another reason, I forgot to mention, that you can also take a selfie with an alpaca!   [gallery ids="10449,10450,10451"]
