Looking to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter? The National Symphony Orchestra has you covered with a live performance of the score from "The Sorcerer's Stone," at Wolf Trap, July 7 and 8.
If you love Harry Potter, the 20th anniversary of the first novel's release will make you feel all kinds of feelings. You might feel old, or maybe you're longing for a simpler time when "He Who Shall Not Be Named" was actually used to refer to Voldemort and not the President of the United States. One thing is certain: the occasion calls for some form of celebration, and the National Symphony Orchestra is doing it in style. On July 7 and 8, the orchestra will perform the entire score for "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" as the film plays on a large screen at the Filene Center in Wolf Trap, Virginia. The film will be projected in High Definition on screens in house and across the lawn.
