If Christmas isn't quite your thing, it can be hard to find something to do on December 25. Link up with others in D.C. for a mixer with Chinese food, a blockbuster movie, and an optional evening of dancing!
It can definitely be a drag when almost everything is closed on December 25. If you're looking for something to do, the folks at Things to Do D.C. are throwing a mixer with Chinese food, movies, and an optional after-party for drinks and dancing. Get off the couch and make some new friends!
WHEN: Tuesday, December 25, 2018 | 5:45-10 p.m.
WHERE: Start out at Tony Cheng's | 619 H Street, NW in Washington, D.C.
TICKETS: $48 available online here
What's for dinner?
You're in for a treat with Tony Cheng's all-you-can-eat Mongolian buffet dinner. Pick your own meat, vegetables, and seasonings, and watch as a grill master cooks it all in front of you. Ice cream, hot tea, water, and soda are included, while a cash bar will also be available. Half the fun is watching your food being cooked on the enormous round griddle, so have your cameras ready for that perfect Instagram post!

What movie is showing?
When you buy your ticket, pick between Aquaman and On the Basis of Sex, and email your preference to events@thingstodoDC.com. Jason Momoa or RBG -- it's kind of a hard choice, isn't it? If you don't make a choice, you will be given a ticket for the showing of Aquaman.

Where's the after-party?
As of press time, the location is to be determined, or yet to be announced. No additional cover will be required, though, so dress to impress. If you choose to go on to the dancing and drinks after the movie, do not wear casual clothes or sneakers.
