Snap on your best lederhosen and head down to Fort Belvoir for their 22nd Annual Oktoberfest! 

The Oktoberfest fun begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, and runs all weekend until Sunday, September 30, rain or shine.

This family-friendly event features acres of carnival rides, German food and beverages, music, and endless fun for people of all ages. Admission, entry to the craft bazaar, and parking are all FREE. Carnival rides require individual tickets or unlimited-ride wristbands that can be purchased at the gate. Make sure to visit the Oktoberfest market for authentic German crafts, clothing, souvenirs, and even imported steins!

Before You Go

Know that there will be a 100 percent enforced ID check at the gate to enter Fort Belvoir. Non-military visitors are encouraged to go to the Fort Belvoir Visitors' Center days before the festival to get a pass.

Prohibited items include: coolers, large bags, pets, skateboards, bikes, weapons, and outside food or drink (except for baby formula or medically necessary food items).
