New Year's Eve brings great options for live music in and around Denver.

2019 is right around the corner. Where will you celebrate on December 31? If you don't want to sit at home and watch the ball drop on TV, but you're not a fan of expensive parties or waiting in line at bars with intoxicated people, perhaps live music will be your jam this year. As it turns out, there are dozens of options for New Year's Eve concerts around Denver, with some wildly popular acts making appearances. 

Decadence 2018

This year's lineup for the popular New Year's Eve festival includes such acts as Marshmello, Big Wild, GRiZ, ILLENIUM, 3LAU, Anti Up, and more. Tickets range from $89-$159, and this takes place at the Colorado Convention Center. 

Justice at Belly Up Aspen

Head to Aspen to celebrate with this French electronic music duo. These guys were nominated for Best Electronic/Dance Album at the Grammy Awards, so prepare to get your groove on. 

Chromeo at Temple Denver

This nearly sold-out bash features a Canadian electro-funk duo that draws inspiration from soul, dance music, synth pop, disco, and funk. 

Gogol Bordello at Boulder Theater

This Manhattan-form punk band has been around since 1999. Can't wait to see them? They'll also be at the Ogden on December 28-29. 

Less Than Jake at Summit

Enjoy some 90s nostalgia with this ska punk band from Florida. The Lillingtons, The Gamits, and Sorry SweetHeart will also play. 

STS9 and Mark Farina at The Fillmore Auditorium

See an experimental instrument collective along with a house/acid jazz/downtempo DJ on the last night of the year. 

DeVotchKa at Bluebird Theater

This Denver-based indie rock band mixes gypsy punk with dark cabaret. See them play with special guests The Sweet Lillies. 

The String Cheese Incident at 1stBANK Center

Did you know this jam band formed in Colorado in 1993? See them live at this special event in Broomfield. 

Leftover Crack at Gothic Theatre

See this New York City punk rock band headline, along with Youth Brigade, Lower Class Brats, and The Potato Pirates. 

Wildermiss at Larimer Lounge

Come support this Denver-based rock band along with three other acts at Larimer Lounge. 

The Colorado Symphony Orchestra at Boettcher Concert Hall

If you're in the mood for classical music, attend this annual tradition with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Head over to the 16th Street Mall for fireworks afterward.
