The 300-acre of property at the National Harbor provides some great options for entertainment, shopping, dining and overnight stays for the holidays. Here's a list of some of those attractions.
Several Events at the Gaylord National Resort
The Gaylord National Resort has been noted as the largest non-gaming hotel and convention center on the East Coast. Some of the nightly entertainment includes two light shows: a Tree of Light and a Brightest Star Fountain Show.
For those looking for some amazing displays, ICE! Gaylord National Harbor is one to take friends and family to check out! Feel free to take the whole family to enjoy this larger-than-life, 10-display attraction featuring some creative themes. Oh, and the Ice Slides are worth checking out as well!

National Harbor Christmas Light Show

This awe-inspiring light show happens nightly at the Waterfront Plaza, National Harbor from Nov. 30 to Jan 5., and its free. The light show begins a half hour after sunset and continues every half hour until 10 p.m. Look for the lighted Christmas tree at Waterfront Plaza and surrounding splendor of lights lining the other trees situated along the streets!
Holiday Movie On The Plaza
The Holiday On The Plaza plays one movie every Saturday on the Plaza at National Harbor until Dec 23. Here is that list of the upcoming holiday movies:

Other Holiday Events
Fireworks at The Harbor
Love seeing spectacular fireworks for the holidays? Well, the Holiday Fireworks display at National Harbor is FREE and occurs every Friday at 7 p.m. This event runs until Dec. 20.
Carousel Rides with Santa
Santa Claus is coming to National Harbor? Yes! This event takes place on Saturdays until Dec. 20, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
PEEPS Holiday Festivities
Those PEEPS you may love to eat during Easter are coming to the National Harbor. This family-friendly event is hosted by PEEPS & Company on Fridays until Dec. 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Holiday Caroling & Entertainment
Want some wonderful Christmas carols to get you in the holiday spirit? Choirs from local schools will bring wonderful song and cheer to the National Harbor. This entertaining and free event will take place every Friday and Saturday until Dec. 21.
Ice Skating Rink
Lace up those blades and take to the ice at National Harbor's first outdoor ice skating rink, located on the East Pier along the Potomac River. There will also be concessions to enjoy like warm cider, hot chocolate and other tasty treats. The ice rink hours vary. Concessions are available on Fridays through Sundays, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
