If you love endless amounts of delicious food as much as we do, add these festivals to your calendar.

Summertime is great for many things — visiting the beach, hosting a cookout, or going camping. But one of the best things about the season is the abundance of food festivals, and Hampton Roads does not disappoint. Whether you're in the market for seafood, barbecue or dessert, the local food scene has you covered.

Pork, Peanut, and Pine Festival

Although this festival doesn't technically fall into the seven cities that comprise Hampton Roads, we think it's worth the short drive to Surry to enjoy all things pork. There are also displays of arts, crafts, and music, so it's sure to be a day well-spent.
