Visit a galaxy far, far away at this "Star Wars"-themed Airbnb.
Climb aboard the Millennium Falcon and get ready to make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, because this Airbnb can definitely get you there. Known as the “Twelve Parsecs by Loma Homes,” the Airbnb property is a nine-bedroom home that sleeps up to 17 guests. At around $650 a night (some nights), this makes it a very affordable $40 a night split amongst 17 of your closest friends.
Throughout the house, you can spot 16 Easter eggs from the movies as you travel through the Forest Moon of Endor and race through the galaxy. To top it all off, the rental property is only 15 minutes from Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge in Orlando, Florida, so that you can spend all day at the park, living your Star Wars dream, and then come home to catch some zzzz's amongst the film’s most iconic scenes.
According to the Airbnb ad, “In this galaxy far, far away, work and the ‘real world’ are light years behind you. Set aside the first 10 minutes of your vacation just to run through the house and discover—and watch the kids discover—all the features that make Twelve Parsecs like a live-in movie set. (If movie sets had a private, heated swimming pool and resort amenities, of course.)”
Loma Vacation Rentals worked with an amusement-park theme company to make every room look like a planet from a galaxy far, far away. So, let’s make the jump to lightspeed and check them all out. Punch it!
The Millennium Falcon Master Bedroom
You can definitely make the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs with this decked-out master bedroom. Designed to look like the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, the bed is perfect for friends of Han Solo and Chewie. It's even equipped with special effects, lights, and buttons to make it look extremely realistic. On the outside of the bed, you’ll also discover the galaxy with a mural of stars, planets, and of course the iconic Death Star.
Race Through Tattooine in This Podracer Themed Room
Relive the adventure with young Anakin as you race through Tatooine in these podracer-themed beds. The beds commemorate the Boonta Eve Classic and allow you to jump right on in and speed to your dreams. The walls are even designed to look like the desert to help complete the scene.
Train with Yoda in the Swamps of Dagobah
Train with Master Yoda, you must. In this room, you can enter the swamps of Dagobah and find the infamous Master Yoda to start your Jedi training—just like Luke Skywalker. Learn all about the Force from the 900-year old Jedi master and sleep well as you take in everything he teaches you. Remember, do or do not, there is no try. May the Force be with you.
Frolic with the Ewoks
Join the cutest characters of the Star Wars universe and frolic around this Endor-themed room. You can live among the trees just like Ewoks and reminisce about the movies. The walls in this room are painted to look like trees so that it seems as though you’re sleeping in the forest moon of Endor, and the bed is made to look aesthetically like the Ewok’s huts.
Float in Cloud City Just Like Lando
Floating in the clouds of the planet Bespin, Cloud City is under the control of young smuggler Lando Calrissian. In this room, you can sleep just like Lando on a floating cloud bed. The bed looks as if its actually floating and includes glowing lights underneath to add to its heavenly vibe. The room also features a fog machine, paintings from the film, and a rug with Han Solo in carbonite.
The Hoth Ice Cave Room
Just like Luke Skywalker, you can visit the ice caves of Hoth in this chilling bedroom. Complete with icicles, a snow-inspired bed, and beautiful icy murals, the room looks just like the iconic scene from the film. Hopefully, though, you don’t run into any wampas while you’re there.
The Lavas of Mustafar
If the cold isn’t your style, then you might want to add some heat to your stay and head to the dark side. This lava-filled room is inspired by Mustafar, a fiery planet in the Outer Rim that also serves as the birthplace of Darth Vader. The room comes with a bunk bed so you can choose who sleeps as Vader on the top bunk and who serves him on the bottom.
Live Like a Queen in Naboo
If serenity and peace is what you want, then this room is for you. Themed after the Royal House of Naboo, this room provides a bed fit for a queen. You can even look out of the stone mural and see a window with rushing waterfalls and a scenic landscape.
